Earth’s average surface temperature

Global Warming is the rise of Earth’s average surface temperature due to result of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation, which trap heat that would otherwise get off from Earth. This is a type of green house effect. Since the early 20th century, Earth’s mean surface temperature has risen by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F), with just about two-thirds of the increase happening since 1980.

It's supposed that by the time a baby born today is 80 years old, the world will be 6 and a half degrees moderately hot than it is at the present.

The thing about climate fiction is this : there is no way to get readings from events that have not happened. I understand there has been a post at the University of Guelph undermining the concpt of even calculating a 'global temperature.' Certainly the trend of temperature change over fixed points ( many of which have since had physical changes creating urban heat island effects ) of land on a water planet cooled by rain, heated by the oceans, cooled by clouds, affected by winds ( is it ever https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6d/Earth_Global_Circulation.jpg ) with seasons and a day / night cycle is not convincingly modeled by solar accumulation models which ignore transmission losses and circulation of air ( and water ) and cyclic phenomena. Especially considering the scale of temperature readings in the past ( accuracy perhaps to one degree ) and lack of data from so much of the surface regardless, I question just how meaningful the readings really are. I live in Chinook country, where winds coming over the mountains can 'eat the snow' so much as to cause snowballs to form on snowfields and for change of state to occur with amazing speed. Heat comes from pressure differential of air flowing into a bowl under pressure.
People who have travelled in the mountains are familiar with it growing colder at increased altitude. Gold miners have to deal with sweltering heat underground. That is why astronomers calculate surface temperatures on planets by adjusting for the bearing pressure of the atmosphere - not by its composition.
JoNova is an Australian website written by a 'science presenter' who for years spread 'climate alarm.' Not these days. The reasons she gives in her older entries provide fascinating considerations to invalidate 'greenhouse gases' as a significant driver of temperatures. For that matter climate always has changed. How is one to predict what the future holds when long term agreement on the putative effects of a trace gas ( CO2 ) may correlate with temperature change only as to increase after temperature rise - not as a driver and there is no knowledge of how much change it has caused ( or if it did and what sign that change might be ).
My sidebar at oldephartte.blogspot.ca lists lots of 'climate' articles ( and debunking of any reliability of 'peer review' ). There are older link lists plus a Page dedicated to climate articles.
I make no pretense of scholarly accomplishment - but I know science fiction when I see it.

Very informative blog!. It contains lot of useful and interesting information. We offer you good condition bikes that are suitable on the rash roads of mountains. Read our blogs all about Manali.
